Welcome & First Login

Everything you need to know for your first day on Buqq.

How you got here#

Your Buqq account was created when you signed up on the pricing page and completed the onboarding checkout. Whether you chose the Free plan or a paid tier, you now have a merchant account tied to your restaurant.

After checkout you received a setup email with a link to set your password. That link is valid for 24 hours. If it has expired, use the forgot password flow to request a new one.

Your Buqq account email is the address you entered during checkout. Keep it accessible — it is where booking alerts, billing notices, and password reset links are delivered.

Setting your password#

When you click the setup link in your setup email, you are taken to the Set Password page. Enter your chosen password twice and click Set password. You are then logged in automatically and redirected to your dashboard.

  1. Open the setup email sent to your registered address.
  2. Click the setup link — this opens the Set Password page on Buqq.
  3. Enter a password of at least 8 characters.
  4. Confirm your password in the second field.
  5. Click "Set password". You are logged in and taken to your dashboard.
Choose a strong, unique password. Social login (Google, Apple) is on our roadmap as an upcoming feature.

First-day checklist#

Once you are logged in, work through this checklist to get your restaurant ready to accept bookings.

Day-one checklist
  • Profile — Add a profile image, gallery photos, description, and address in Settings → Profile.
  • Availability — Set your open days, time slots, and dining capacity in Settings → Availability.
  • Notifications — Turn on email alerts and optionally connect Telegram in Settings → Notifications.
  • Booking URL — Copy your booking page link from the dashboard and share it on your website and social profiles.
  • Test booking — Open your booking page in a private window or on a separate device and place a test reservation to confirm everything works end-to-end.

Your first login

The dashboard gives you an overview of your restaurant at a glance — today's upcoming reservations, a summary of recent booking activity, and quick links to key settings. Until you configure availability, your booking page will show no available times and guests will not be able to complete a reservation. Set up your open days, time slots, and capacity in Settings → Availability before sharing your booking URL.
